Morecambe Lodge is situated on the shore of Morecambe Bay between Hest Bank and Bolton-le-Sands, its about 3 miles North of Morecambe, 4 miles North of Lancaster and 2 miles South of Carnforth. You can walk straight through the Park onto the beach with views across Morecambe Bay of Grange, Ulverston and the Lake District Hills. The sunsets are regarded as some of the best anywhere.
To get here by car, coming North on the M6 you can leave via Junction 34 and join the A6 North in Lancaster; or travelling South on the M6 you can leave via junction 35 and join the A6 South in Carnforth. Between Lancaster and Carnforth is a junction in Bolton-le-Sands between the A6 and the A5105 Coastal Road, take the 5105 for 200 metres only then turn right onto Pasture Lane which leads to Shore Lane and Morecambe Lodge Caravan Park.
For those using Sat-Nav please do not go past the main gate as it gets too narrow and our postcode LA5 8JP refers to the house and not the Park.
There are many walks in the area both North and South along the beach and footpaths leading inland, the canal runs parallel to the shore and is excellent for walks or bicycle riding. The canal weaves North to Carnforth then onto Tewitfield, and South to Lancaster and onto Glasson Dock.
